My name is Anthony or more popularly known online as Detective OPS. I met Rocky, one of GameOPS' founders, at some supermarket in Quezon City while I was playing Street Fighter 2 some eons ago. He challenged me to a match and I easily defeated his hadouken spamming Ken. He he he. After that, we had this weekly match of SF2 at that supermarket's arcade and eventually, he invited me to be part of a video gaming website he's planning to make.
I became part of GameOPS when they formally launched the website about 14 or 15 years ago. That time, I was already working for several US-based gaming magazines as a freelance PR agent. I don't write for magazines though, I gather news so please excuse my writing style as I am not a journalist. So basically, I became a detective for GameOPS. "Detective" OPS, see the connection? :P
Because of my work, I got exclusive news and information for the readers of GameOPS which made the website popular back in the day where magazines still rule.
I've been living in the US with my family since 1998. I left GameOPS around 2001 when the founders were having internal conflicts. I rejoined GameOPS last September when me and my family relocated back in the Philippines last May.
Right now, I'm working as a secret agent. Okay just kidding. I'm working as an IT consultant somewhere in Laguna. Go ahead, stalk me :)
